Born and raised in the hills of North Jersey, Shane Casey has spent over half his life writing and performing music. With two albums and a handful of EP’s to boot, he boasts a respectable discography ranging from melancholy folk, to boisterous rock- and not to mention some good ol’ fashioned, salt-of-the-earth Americana. “Too old to change, too young to care” Shane has found his sound and delivers a cheerful nihilism missing in today’s modern atmosphere, while speaking directly to the beating heart of the middle class.

 

Like Bob Dylan (but without the heavy drug use) Shane is known for illustrating vivid imagery over a down tuned acoustic, whilst letting harmonica fill the spaces between. But don’t let the sad acoustic songs fool you; whether performing solo or with a three piece band behind him… he’s no stranger to Rock N’ Roll.
